Information obligations for retailers
As a retailer, you are not obliged to accept used mattresses from your customers free of charge. If you do so, you will receive a fee from Valumat. For more information, visit: valumat.be/voorwaarden. In that case, you can register as a collection point on the Valumat website via valumat.be/registreren.
Mentioning the Valumat contribution is a legal obligation that is monitored by the federal government and sanctioned in the event of infringements: see economie.fgov.be
